4 Low 4 Adventure | Marco Challenge

For those of you who have slept under a rock and haven’t been gazing endlessly at my instagram, I am setting off this weekend to do the Maroc Challenge. It’s a 2,000km rally across the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara Desert, made only slightly harder by the start finish line being another 1,000km from home. (Intro video here) I am doing it in Ventura and I thought you all should know, so temporarily have relaunched the blog updates.

Ventura is 20 years old now having been registered in 2004 and 155,000 miles ago. She has had some upgrades, I admit I have become a little obsessive in my preparations for this trip. But something will go wrong. I am almost certain whatever it is that goes wrong I won’t know how to fix and will create some kind of massive handbrake to the whole trip. My worst case scenario is a picture of Ventura on a flat bed being carted out the desert.

Because I know you all want to follow us round the trip, I have signed up to some sort of witchcraft thing that sends a signal from my GPS unit into the sky and down into the web to make a tracker. I have no idea if it works – https://share.garmin.com/4low4adventure but you should be able to follow along from here.

There is also the ability for you to track our progress through the actual race platform – https://live.suckmytrack.com/maroc-challenge-se-2024 that will go live on Sunday 24th when the race starts.

We will win obviously, but you can track our standings (team #300)  through the race here – https://lb.suckmytrack.com/maroc-challenge-se-2024/categories again that won’t go live until the end of Day 1 on Sunday 24th.

We will be heading deep into the Sahara desert, and so I expect large periods of black spots.  Any wifi spots will be sought out for regular Instagram updates, please follow along if you don’t already.

Wish us luck as Team 4 Low 4 Adventure #300 embarks on a truly epic adventure.
